We check pockets for items before washing. Anything found will be placed in a small bag and returned with your clothes.  

Yes. Just throw it all together, and we'll do the separating before wash.

No. For pick up, you can just leave by your front door, or a place you're comfortable with. Just let us know in the special instructions of your order. Same thing for delivery.  We'll place by your front door, or a place of your choosing, or we can hand to you personally.

You can put your clothes in any container on your first order. Trash bags are the most practical and is preferred. Your laundry will be returned in a complimentary reusable Laundster laundry bag. In future orders, please use this bag to put your clothes in for pick up. 

Yes.  Your wash & fold clothing is washed and dried in machines dedicated to just your order. 

We wash all clothes in cold water by default. If you want your clothes washed in warm or hot water, just let us know in the special instructions when placing your order.

Yes. We dry all clothes with Bounce Free & Gentle (free of perfumes, dermatologist tested) dryer sheets unless you specify otherwise.

Yes. When stains are noticed, or you let us know of certain stains in your instructions, we will target the stain with a stain remover. We offer both Shout and Dreft stain remover. Dreft is a plant-based stain remover that is hypoallergenic with no dyes.  Just let us know which you'd like us to use when ordering. For deep stains we recommend you pretreat the item beforehand. Soaking overnight with some baking soda or hydrogen peroxide can be helpful depending on the material.

Yes.

All items are dried on delicate cycle with hang-dry finish when necessary.

Yes. Simply note in the special instructions that you'd like for us to use your personal detergent, softener, dryer sheets etc. to use in your cleaning. Leave your products next to your clothing for pick up. We'll return with your clean clothes.

We charge for the post-cleaning/post-drying weight. We do not include the laundry bag or hangers weight. We round down to the nearest half pound. 

Depending on material of clothing, a standard size (13 gallon) kitchen trash bag full of clothing should weigh 12-18 pounds.  

Yes. We secure your folded clothing in biodegradable plastic bags before placing in your reusable laundry duffle bag.  

We recommend that you take your cleaned clothes out of the plastic bags the day they are delivered. The packaging used is meant for secure transport and item separation, not for long-term storage. It's always best to let your clothes breathe as soon as possible.

Yes.  We sanitize our washing machines regularly.

It is extremely unlikely that you will have missing clothes. We have systems in place to prevent this possibility. It is common that customers simply forgot to include an item and it is somewhere in their house. However,  we will evaluate each case and accomodate accordingly.  We handle your clothes with the utmost care and any damage in question likely happend prior to us receiving them. However, we will evaluate each case and try to come up with agreeable resolve. Please read Laundsters Terms & Conditions.
